Build Your Courage. Act on Your Intuition.
“Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs
This week, it only seems fitting to explore the question of what your heart and intuition want you to become.
In my last post, I talked about the ideas that seem to keep moving around in your head. Truth is, they are probably originating from your heart if they keep returning.
It’s easy to let your practical side shut down many of the ideas that just don’t seem to have a clear path or payoff.
When you want to create your own path in your life or work, listening to your inner voice is imperative.
It’s not easy. But it is worth it!
You may not have to sacrifice everything you’ve accomplished. Be careful about the assumptions you make.
Your action item: Write down what your intuition is telling you now.
There’s something powerful that happens when you begin to capture your thoughts in a tangible way. They become more real. When your thoughts become real, you can act on them more easily.
As you write, don’t judge. Simply write.
Your goal is to acknowledge the inner voice. Often people express regret that they can’t do what they really want to do. (Or so they think.) They are too quick to dismiss what could be possible.
What they don’t realize is that they haven’t truly explored ways to become who they truly want to become.
Don’t be one of them.
What will you do to build your courage to act on your intuition?
