Summer is a season for slowing down. Or is it? For some reason, I'm hearing more people express thoughts about possible changes. Many can't put their finger on it. They just know they want something more, new or different.
Whether it's changing the business, changing careers or just changing your work somehow, giving yourself some space to think through your goals and ideas is a good practice.
As you slow down the pace this summer, rev up your thinking about where you want to go from here. To help you in your thought process, complete these statements:
* I've been most successful when ________________.
* I would be most excited to accomplish ______________ in my business or career over the next two or three years.
* This accomplishment is important to me because ________________.
* Some possible ideas for business (or personal) growth include ______________.
* The strategy I need to put in place to achieve my career or business goals would involve ___________________.
* I may have difficulty achieving what I want because ______________.
* But I will overcome this challenge by _____________________.
* I will commit to _____________________ to help me move closer to my goal.
Don't let the summer slip by without creating some time to think.Turn your ideas into action…and reach your goals more quickly!
